Kelli, Ana Maria, Emily,
Thank you for all the hard work and encouragement and for putting together this wonderful recital.
Vrishab is really enjoying playing the violin and always looks forward to the classes and the recitals.
I know that all three of you dedicate so much of your time and energy to the school and I cannot even begin to express my gratitude for all that you do for the students. It has been a joy to watch Vrishab and the other kids grow up learning music under your tutelage.
Thank you for being such wonderful teachers.

Dear Ms. Kelli,
It is amazing to watch you break down a difficult task into small accessible pieces. You always say that every child can learn to play the violin. When we practice exactly as you instruct, success always occurs. I really appreciate how you take the time to use a game to make the practice repetitions so much fun. I always walk away with many ideas to use at home.
Thank you for teaching music. I can hardly believe that my little boy used to hide behind a chair to keep from playing. Now he stands proud and confident with skill on his instrument and a kind heart towards others.
Sincerely,
Linda

Dear Future Student,
The Norman School for Strings was my home away from home when I moved from out of state to Oklahoma. With three children who play string instruments, I was very picky about choosing a school and private teachers. We found a home here and we loved every minute that we spent with this school. We were lucky to get Miss Kelli for a Violin and Viola teacher and Miss Emily for our cello teacher. We were also able to learn from Miss Ana Maria in group classes. We felt they were the best teachers we have ever had. The teachers here are a perfect mix of professionalism and kindness. Techniques were sometimes taught to us in new ways. Things that hadn’t quite clicked before now fell together like the pieces of a puzzle. Happily, you can’t get away with anything there, like a bad bow-hold or a note that’s not quite in tune. But the teachers help you learn and fix bad habits without making your child feel that they are a bad musician. The result is a better player, with good self esteem.
Not only did my children play at this school, but I also enrolled as an adult student. Every effort was made to include the adults who hadn’t had the opportunity to learn as a child. My teacher even found an orchestra of beginner adults for me to participate in. I can’t say enough about the teachers at this school. They seem to put their whole lives into these students. They will go out of their way to accommodate you and help you. I know they must sacrifice much in their personal life to be such dedicated teachers.
There are also many opportunities at the school for performance which is a huge plus. There are multiple solo recitals, group ensembles, mall marathons, festivals etc. Whenever we prepare to perform there is a lot of preparation and playing for one another to get more comfortable playing in front of people.
After experiencing 5 different string schools, I whole heartedly say that this is the best you will ever find. These are the best teachers I have ever come across. We love the Norman School for Strings!
Sincerely,
The Warnick Family
